Cantonment Hill Master Plan Working Group
This working group has been established to deliver a master plan for Cantonment Hill which incorporates and specifies the:
- development objectives and philosophy
- protection of the cultural heritage significance of the site
- allocation of land uses including recreation and open space areas
- landscape plan together with management strategy
- public access plan and
- ongoing maintenance plan.
The master plan will be prepared in consultation with the Heritage Council of Western Australia, Planning Western Australia, and other key stakeholders. The draft plan will be provided for consideration and adoption by council.
Membership
Membership of the working group includes:
- two elected members
- one community representative with a heritage interest
- one community representative with an Aboriginal interest
- one representative from the Army Museum
- three community representatives with interest, knowledge or experience in landscape master planning, environmental science or natural areas.
