Climate Change Adaptation Working Group
The City of Fremantle considers that climate change and its associated impact, is one of the most - if not the most, critical strategic issues facing society in general. As a result, the Climate Change Adaptation Working Group has been established to develop a number of strategic responses to the issue.
These will fall into the areas of how the City conducts it operations, its planning and regulatory responsibilities, the possible impact of sea level changes, and policy responses the City may develop, and community leadership.
Membership
Membership of the working group includes:
- two elected members
- four representatives from the community with specific interest/expertise in sustainability issues.
