African doll making/sewing group

The Uthanda Project is a grassroots organisation of people who make dolls for children in South Africa, who have been affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Anyone can make a doll in these workshops. You will learn simple techniques to create a robust doll and a variety of clothing which you can donate to the project.

Intermediate cycling

Long walks
