When you have arrived in Fremantle the easiest way to get around is with the Fremantle CAT service. The route is designed especially to assist you to get to all the popular Fremantle destinations and it runs seven days a week.

CAT buses complete a circuit around the City of Fremantle stopping at popular places of interest offering easy access to major attractions and venues. Park a little further away (where there are likely to be more parking spaces) and catch the free CAT buses around town.

The service is fully accessible with vehicle kneeling action at the curbside, driver activated ramp and low floor design, with the added comfort of fully air-conditioned vehicles. For the perfect day out, leave your car at home, take the train to Fremantle where you can catch a CAT.


Please Note:As of February 2002, the CAT bus route will go down as far as Douro Road via South Terrace, then come back up Marine Terrace to Fremantle.

The CAT Buses run every 10 minutes.
