ANZAC Day dawn service
The Fremantle dawn service begins at 5.30 am on ANZAC Day and is coordinated by the City of Fremantle in conjunction with the Fremantle Memorial Wardens. All are welcome to attend the service and any organisations or individuals who wish to lay a wreath during the ceremony are asked to register their name with the City of Fremantle on 9432 9999 by Monday April 16.

- 5.30 am unit and association wreath layers are requested to assemble directly behind the monument on the eastern side
- bugler sounds the still
- wreath laying ceremony
- last post (flags are lowered to half mast)
- one minutes silence (Catafalque party present arms)
- reveille (flags are raised to masthead)

- address by Mayor Brad Pettitt and close (flags lowered to half mast until midday).
The ANZAC Day commemorative
Exhibition
Runs for its seventh year showcasing items from unique public and private collections which will be on display in the Fremantle Town Hall, 8 William Street, Fremantle on Wednesday 25 April between 8.00 am and 3.00 pm. Entry is free to the public. This year the exhibition is supported by the Museum of WA. Military Historical Society, author Andrew Pittaway and local primary schools. There will also be a display on the HMAS Sydney. Sing Australia Choir will be performing a repertoire of wartime songs at 9.00 am in the hall.
ANZAC Day parade road closures
The following road closures will be implemented in the Fremantle CBD for the ANZAC Day March on Wednesday 25 April from 9.00 am to approximately 12.00 noon affecting the following streets as shown below:

ANZAC Day morning tea
A free morning tea will be served just outside Fremantle Town Hall, 8 William Street, Fremantle between 8.00 am and 12.00 noon from the Cafe2U mobile van.
ANZAC Day parade
Parade step off time is 10.15 am from the Esplanade Reserve. The parade will travel through the main streets of Fremantle and along the cappuccino strip where a salute will be taken. There will be a short closing ceremony when the parade returns to the Esplanade. The ANZAC Day parade is coordinated by the City of Fremantle and is supported by the Returned Services League (RSL) of Australia WA Branch and Fremantle Police.

Public transport
There will be free travel on public transport for anyone wearing military uniform or medals traveling to the ANZAC Day dawn service or ANZAC Day parade in
Fremantle. The Fremantle CAT Bus will also be running from 10.00 am.
