Planning changes for businesses
The City of Fremantle Council last night (24 April 2012) adopted recommendations which will streamline the process for businesses applying to operate in the Fremantle city centre.
The amendment to the City’s Local Planning Scheme (scheme amendment 52) will mean the majority of businesses applying to trade in Fremantle will no longer need to apply for planning approvals when using existing premises for uses including restaurants, small bars, offices and shops.
