Position requirements
Health and fitness
The health and fitness area employs gym instructors and group fitness instructors (freestyle and aqua).
Applicants are required to have current qualifications including:
- health and fitness qualifications (minimum Certificate III, Certificate IV required for personal trainers)
- Fitness Australia registration
- Standard First Aid certificate.
Aquatics
The aquatic area employs duty managers and lifeguards.
Lifeguard applicants are required to have current qualifications including:
- Bronze Medallion
- Senior First Aid
- Pool lifeguard.
Duty manager applicants are required to have current qualifications including:
- Bronze Medallion
- Senior First Aid
- Pool lifeguard
- Pool managers certificate
- LIWA Accreditation.
Swim school
Swim school applicants are required to have current qualifications including:
- Austswim or Royal Life Saving Society Certificate
- Resuscitation Certificate
- Working with Children Check.
Customer service
Previous experience in customer service is desirable.
Crèche
Crèche attendants require a genuine interest and work experience with children. Applicants are also required to have a current Working with Children Check and current resuscitation certificate.
