Swimmers are assessed over 25 m of freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke.

Once swimmers have acquired both fitness and skill they move into the bronze squad - a very team based squad.
Aged 9 years+ the squad swims two sessions per week. Swimmers are taught to set goals and to work to achieve them.
The focus is on the development of an above average fitness base and skills in all 4 competitive strokes, as well as the 100 m individual medley.
