(24/3/17) Students win Leeuwin II scholarship

Congratulations to William Green (CBC Fremantle), Addison Ogg (John Curtin College of the Arts) and Isabelle Lindsey (University of Notre Dame Australian) who have been awarded with a full scholarships from the City to participate in a seven–day leadership adventure aboard the STS Leeuwin II.

The successful applicants have displayed a range of leadership skills which the opportunity on the Leeuwin will help to strengthen.

They are not set to join other youths from across the state to sail the Leeuwin, engaging in all aspects of the working tall ship from taking the helm and standing night watch to setting the sails and climbing aloft.

Run by not-for-profit organisation the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Foundation, the voyages aim to challenge and inspire young people to realise their personal potential and make a positive contribution to the wider community.

For more background info on the scholarship visit the Leeuwin Ocean Adventure Scholarships form page.
