BUSTER IS BACK!... Free fun bus for kids...
25 Jun 2008
AFTER celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2006, Buster The Fun Bus is back for the July school holidays and a Term 3 program, providing a range of activities for children up to 12.
Operating within the Cities of Fremantle, Melville and Cockburn, a skilled social worker and play leader have made Buster The Fun Bus a favourite with children of all ages thanks to an array of sports equipment, games and crafts and toys for smaller children.
Buster The Fun Bus travels to a variety of community parks and venues, allowing children and their parents to meet informally to create networks while also fostering cognitive, physical and emotional development in a fun, challenging and safe environment.
Offering support, information and resources for parents to enhance and further develop parenting skills, Buster The Fun Bus is operated by qualified child carers and gives parents a chance to participate in their children’s playtime and development in a positive way.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult and should also wear a hat and sunscreen and bring a drink. No dogs are allowed.
During July school holidays, Buster The Fun Bus will be at the Samson Recreation Centre on July 8 and 15, South Fremantle’s Meeting Place on July 9 and 16 and North Fremantle’s Gordon Deadman Reserve on July 10 and 17 from 9am to midday on all dates.
