Overhanging vegetation

Trees, shrubs and vines obstructing pedestrian progress along footpaths from private property should be reported to reduce the risk to footpath users. The City will request for residents/ratepayers to prune or remove vegetation. Residents can contact our parks and landscape team on 9432 9999.

Street tree maintenance

Street tree maintenance such as pruning for sightline clearances (vision from intersections, driveways etc), and power line pruning are part of the City's pruning program. At all times this program will be followed, however reasonable requests for extra pruning will be considered. Residents are reminded that they are not permitted to prune verge trees. Contact our parks and landscape team on 08 9432 9999.

Removal of street trees by residents is not permitted. Requests for removal of street trees are required in writing and will only be approved where the City's tree planting and preservation policy permits. Contact parks and landscape team on 08 9432 9999.
