One Day in Fremantle – Sunday 27 January 2019

Summer in Freo has arrived and to start the year off, the City of Fremantle is proud to bring One Day in Fremantle back to the Esplanade Reserve on Sunday 27 January 2019 from 2pm – 7.30pm.

Sydney-based songwriter Montaigne will headline the celebrations after recently releasing her latest single 'For Your Love'.

The 23-year-old won an ARIA award in 2016 for best breakthrough artist following the success of her debut album Glorious Heights, which featured the singles 'Because I Love You' and 'In the Dark'.

Joining Montaigne will be up-and-coming soul singer Adrian Eagle, fresh off his European tour supporting the Hilltop Hoods earlier this year.

In addition to great music there will be a range of family-friendly activities to enjoy throughout the day as well as delicious cuisines from around the world.

The event will begin with a smoking ceremony at 8am at the Bathers Beach Precinct, followed by a host of Aboriginal cultural workshops and activities for everyone to enjoy at Kidogo Arthouse.

Stay tuned on our what's on page for further announcements to the line-up!
