Wanjoo Welcome Lounge
The Wanjoo Welcome Lounge (formerly known as 'One Stop Stop') has moved to the Fremantle Oval, at the back of the new library space.
Wanjoo Welcome Lounge is a community space for people over the age of 55 years. It is run by volunteers and is opened Monday to Friday between 9am–3pm.
The new space has a courtyard equipped with BBQ, a large kitchen and new comfortable leather lounges. You can have a cuppa, read the daily newspaper, have a chat with other visitors, or access all the library services (computers, books, magazines, etc). The Curious (aka Come & Try) program will continue to provide regular workshops throughout the year, conveniently within the new spaces, at The Meeting Place or the Walyalup Aboriginal Cultural Centre.
Give us a visit, and discover the new space. Our dedicated and friendly volunteers will welcome you to Wanjoo and help you, including with bookings for the Curious program.
Please call Customer Service on 08 9432 9999 to make enquires about ongoing groups.
