Holding your wedding in Fremantle

The City of Fremantle does not book public parks and beaches for private wedding events.  Wedding parties are welcome to utilise these spaces free of charge, however this will only be on a first in basis as exclusive use will not be granted for these areas for wedding ceremonies.

No alcohol may be consumed on public reserves and wedding gatherings can have a maximum of 50 people in attendance.

Interested parties should be aware that the City still books these spaces for public events, so no guarantees can be made about the availability of any particular space, nor that there will be no conflicting public events taking place in or around the precinct on the date required.

Below is a list of requirements that must be adhered to when using a City space for a private event.

Search the Community Directory information database for information on a range of other suitable wedding venues available for hire in the Fremantle area.
