The City of Fremantle is committed to providing opportunities for all members of the community to participate in civic decision-making processes. Community engagement is a way of acknowledging the knowledge, skills and expertise in our community, and seeks to combine these with the skills, knowledge and expertise of City staff and elected members.
The City engages on a diverse range of issues and projects and offers a range of methods to be involved. To view current and past community engagement activities go to our dedicated community engagement portal My Say Freo where you can also register and subscribe for updates.
Members of the public are also welcome to attend or speak at council or committee meetings. For further information see community participation on the council and committee meetings page.
The City also provides support to recognised precinct groups which meet regularly to discuss local topics, for more information see our precincts page.
