When can I start using EasyPark?

The EasyPark parking system will be live from Monday 1 July 2024.

Where can I use EasyPark?

At any of the City of Fremantle’s more than 1,400 street bays and more than 2,300 car park bays across the CBD.

Can I still pay for parking at a parking machine?

Yes, you can pay for parking at available parking machines using a credit card if you prefer not to use the EasyPark app, provided that parking machines are available in the area.

Those preferring to pay in cash can still do so in most carparks and at more than half of the on-street parking bays.

Why has the City of Fremantle changed how visitors and residents pay for parking?

EasyPark offers a convenient way to pay for parking particularly in terms of improved customer experience.

EasyPark provides the following important benefits for users:

  • Save time –avoid unnecessary interaction with the ticket machines and parking meters.

  • Save money – only pay for the time you use and reduce overpayment

  • Reliability – you’ll get reminders to help reduce the risk of receiving an infringement

  • Convenience – simple, easy to use interfaces and personal self-service via the App and web

What about permit holders?

Permit-holders will receive instructions to assist their transition to the new system.

How do I get a refund from PayStay?

Please contact PayStay at customerservice@paystay.com.au or 1300 322 111 to discuss refunds on credits held in existing accounts.

How do I get started?

  1. Download the EasyPark app from the Apple App Store or Google Play
  2. Create an account, register your car details and add a payment method

Note: You can also create an account via the EasyPark website.

How does the EasyPark app work?

  1. Ensure your vehicle registration number, up to date payment details are recorded in EasyPark
  2. Add your parking area code (visible on signage in the car park) or choose the relevant carpark using the map function in the app
  3. Spin the wheel within the app to select your desired parking duration and click start parking to initiate your parking session
  4. If you leave earlier than planned, remember to stop your EasyPark session via the app

What about pay-by-plate?

The City of Fremantle will be installing 117 new pay-by-plate parking meters later this year. These will replace the current pay-by-display paper ticket machines.

How do I add or change my payment details?

Payment details can be changed on the EasyPark app or via the EasyPark website.
