Did you know the Fremantle Markets was established back in 1897?

Like all historic buildings, maintenance is required to ensure they remain safe and compliant. 

We've allocated funding to the partial refurbishment of Fremantle Markets in the 2022–23 budget. 

Timeline

A tender has been issued and discussions are underway with the contractor and the markets lessee about the funding and phasing of the project.
