The City of Fremantle has partnered with a number of local governments including the City of Canning, City of South Perth, and many more to create LibraryCraft, a Minecraft server with multiple worlds for WA players aged between 7–17 years old. This creative world will keep young people busy and their minds active, with exciting challenges and monthly competitions to win. To join, simply fill in the form online at https://librarycraft.net/
Picture books, board books, easy readers, DVDs and fiction can be found in the Children's Library at Fremantle Library.
Supports parents in reading to children, helping them to develop necessary literacy skills to become good readers and succeed at school. Collect a Better Beginnings parent toolkit with a beautiful board book for your baby from your child health nurse or from the Library. Visit Better Beginnings for more information.

Free, multi-sensory, hands-on, active and child-centred program that offers creative and fun opportunities for families to learn and play together. Ages 0-5

Fremantle Toy Library
Choose from over 1900 toys, games, costumes, puzzles and ride ons to borrow at Fremantle Toy Library.
Membership is open to families, playgroups, parent groups and centres.
Story Box Library is a subscription based educational website, created for children to view stories by local authors and illustrators, being read aloud by fantastic, predominantly Australian and New Zealand, storytellers. Follow the link on the Downloads page for access.
Free unlimited streaming of children's videos including ABC Kids. Visit the Kanopy website, create an account and click on the Kanopy Kids link on the homepage.
Busy Things provides educational games and activities for ages 3-11, learning skills in language, math, art, music and more.
Young adult collection
Young people who use code to develop apps, games and websites are invited to bring their own inspiration, ideas and knowledge into the Dojo. Develop your skills in Scratch and much more! Mentors are on hand to help learn new skills and solve problems. Bookings are essential but you can join at any time if there are vacancies.

The library has a small number of desks and seating areas suitable for study on a first come, first served basis. There are also some powerpoints and a chargebar for devices.
