For children aged 3–5 years: These classes are for 3-5 year olds and are run in our warm program pool. Students learn swimming and water safety skills both aided and independently and are progressed through our 6 levels as they achieve skill-specific milestones.
There is a maximum of 4 students to one instructor in all Under 5’s classes.
$16.05 - $16.90 per lesson.

Classes and skills
Classes run every morning, Monday to Sunday and every weekday afternoon (except Tuesday) during school terms. Students new to the program must book in a free assessment prior to enrolling into classes.
This beginner level is suitable for children with little water confidence or experience. Students will learn safe water entries and exits and the basics of breath control and floating. An initial front swim is introduced.
Suitable for confident beginner students. Independent front and back swimming skills are taught.
Starfish are taught propulsion on both their front and back with the use of kicking and pulling. Safety jumps are completed independently.
Swimming distances are extended and flutter kicking is developed. Freestyle arms are introduced. Keeling dives are also taught.
Swordfish students are introduced to breaststroke kick and backstroke. Independent freestyle is developed and safety skills are completed in deep water.
Our advanced Flyingfish students are introduced to freestyle breathing and must complete an independent swim of backstroke, breaststroke kick on back and freestyle. 10 seconds of treading water in deep water is also taught.
