
Terms and conditions
- The Plastic Free July book competition is open to residents of the City of Fremantle (The City). Proof of residency may be requested from the winning entrant.
- Entry into the competition signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Instructions on how to enter the competition as well as information contained within promotional material form part of these terms and conditions.
- Entry to the competition requires registration online for the ‘Plastic Free July Challenge’ and also leaving a comment on a City of Fremantle Facebook post relating to the competition. Entrants may also complete the City’s ‘Pesky Plastics Quiz’ for an additional entry to the competition. Two entries maximum per person. Late entries will not be considered.
- The competition runs from 12am on Wednesday 17 June and closes 11.59pm on Tuesday 30 June 2020.
- One (1) winner will be randomly drawn by the City on Thursday 2 July and notified via Facebook Messenger. The City reserves the right to select an alternative winner should they be unable to contact a winning entrant.
- The winning entrant shall receive a copy of the book ‘Plastic Free’ by Rebecca Prince-Ruiz and Joanna Atherfold Finn (‘the prize’).
- Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- The City reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the competition without notice.
- The City shall not be liable for any loss (including loss of opportunity) or damage (including, but not limited to, direct, indirect or inconsequential loss) or personal injury in relation to the competition or the use of the prize.
