Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer

The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development has placed a quarantine area over parts of Fremantle, East Fremantle, North Fremantle, Palmyra, and Bicton for an initial period of six months to help contain the spread of the Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer.

If you suspect an infestation in your garden, please report it to the Pest and Disease Information Service.

The Fremantle Recycling Centre will not accept garden waste from this quarantine area. Contact the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development for information on how to dispose of your garden waste.
