Change of ownership

Under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1995, you are required to provide written advice to the City of Fremantle within 21 days of a rateable property being sold, disposed of or having its ownership changed.

Details of the land description and name and address of the new owner must be provided. Proof of any change in ownership may be required by the City prior to its records being altered.

You will need to advise us in writing of your new address, together with proof of the change.

You can;

  • come in person to the service and information centre at the Fremantle Oval, 70 Parry Street, Fremantle
  • send it via fax 08 9430 4634
  • send it by mail to the City of Fremantle, PO Box 807, Fremantle WA 6959
  • email to info@fremantle.wa.gov.au.

Change of address

It is your responsibility to inform us in writing of your change of address.  Complete the change of address form and;
