Have you ever stopped and wondered how many sheets of paper used to print and to send out the City's annual rates notice? Currently this is 15 100+ so to put this in perspective, this is 15+ times more than a standard print of The Lord of Rings which contains around 1 000 pages.

Oh and this 15 100+ annual notices does not include the printing of envelopes and instalment notices or take into consideration the plastics from the ink or the emissions produced from printing notices.

But, we have some good news for you and the environment. You can register to receive your future annual and instalment rate notices electronically and have them land in your email inbox or via your banking institution’s BPAY page – no more printed annual or instalment notices.

By making this simple switch, you’ll ensure you’ve added your own page into the book of environmental change while at the same time having the convenience of your rate notices being available to you anytime and anywhere.
