Skateboarding

We love skateboarding here at the City of Fremantle. Skateboarding is a great way for young people to get outdoors, meet people and learn new skills. Skateboarding a great alternative to organised sport, it's a skill you can learn for life and take anywhere.  The exercise keeps you fit and the buzz you get from learning something new, gets a lot of good vibes flowing and gets your heart pumping.

There  are regular skateboarding clinics, competitions and other showcase events at the Esplanade Youth Plaza. We work with Skateboarding WA to regularly deliver beginner and intermediate clinics. Skateboards and protective equipment will be provided. All registrations for skateboarding events are now online.

In wet or extreme weather conditions - please check the Freo Youth Facebook page for cancellations 1-2 hours before the scheduled event time.
