The competition closes on 30 June, after which 10-12 artworks will be selected to be displayed on public bin infrastructure and an exhibition at the Walyalup Civic Centre from 28 August – 8 September. A ceremony will be held to announce the winners of the prize categories.

For more details, please read the competition information.

Entries are to be enter through this online form by 2pm 30 June 2023.

Recycling Roadshow

Incursions/Visits

A City Officer can tailor a presentation for your group or school. For example, how to use your bins in a retirement village meeting, for scouts or inside the classroom which includes a game.

Sessions typically run 45-60 minutes or 30 minutes for younger students (Prep – Yr 1).

Looking for something more exciting? The incursion can be accompanied by a waste truck to the school. Places are limited. Contact (below) for more details.

Some examples of workshops included bike maintenance, low waste living on a budget, sustainable goal setting, and composting.
