Join us at the Fremantle Leisure Centre for a special event in honour of the International Day for People with Disability (IDPwD).
Embracing this year’s theme, “Confident, Capable, and Creative: Come with Me,” we invite everyone to celebrate community, inclusion, and empowerment with an array of exciting and interactive activities.

Meet & Greet Des, Champ and Friends who are Eastern States Trained Seeing Eye Dogs
Learn about the vital role seeing eye dogs and engage in conversations about disability inclusion.

Individual Swim Support Plan (ISSP) and Dolphins Program

Accessibility & Amenities Details:
Facilities: The 25m, 50m, and leisure pools are equipped with wheelchair access ramps and pool ladders. We also have junior and senior waterproof wheelchairs available for use at any time. A chairlift hoist can be set up on request (please advise in advance for set-up time).
Change Rooms: The centre features three accessible change rooms, one equipped with a battery-operated hoist/sling to assist with showering and changing. Duty managers and lifeguards are on hand to provide assistance if needed.
Location: Conveniently located near Fremantle train station, with bus stops within 100 metres of the entrance.
Parking: Off-streetcar park 14 is reserved for leisure centre users.
