We are revegetating the foreshore reserve with local native species following the 2017 bushfire hazard reduction works. The aim of revegetation is to reinstate species richness to build resilience and sustain the natural vegetation and provide suitable habitat to encourage recolonisation by native fauna. Species for revegetation have also been selected to reduce the intensity of potential bushfire. This work forms part of the Riverbank funded project, North Fremantle Foreshore Vegetation Management. More information on the project can be accessed herewww.fremantle.wa.gov.au/north-fremantle-foreshore-vegetation-assessment-and-management-project
