16 July
Creating new queer stories

Do you enjoy creative writing, but never seem to find the time to get round to it?

Or maybe you’ve never seen yourself as ‘a good writer,’ but you wouldn’t mind giving it a shot.

Anyone can create.

Everyone has stories to tell.

Come along to our workshop. In a low-key, playful environment, you’ll get to:
 - Discuss some of your favorite queer stories.
- Mix and match elements from these stories to create surprising new narratives.
- Use simple writing prompts to draft the first 300 words of an original piece. All you need to bring is a pen, a journal, and a sense of possibility. No previous experience is required.16th of July, from 3 to 5PM, at the North Fremantle Community Centre (wheelchair-accessible venue).

Oh, and did we mention there’ll be snacks available, catering for the vegan, dairy-free and GF?

Tickets are $5, plus any donations you wish to make will be forwarded to Boorloo Justice.
