September is shaping up to be a fun-filled birthday month! Join us as we celebrate our 70th anniversary with a number of community events.

Author Panel Talk: Fremantle - A Page Turner 

Get to know the authors behind some of Australia’s inspiring works and see how Fremantle has, and continues to, inspire and support literature and the arts. Panel line-up includes Alan Carter, Amanda Curtin, Craig Silvey and Leigh Straw.

Author Talk: An Evening with Morris Gleitzman

Australia’s funniest and best-loved author for young people is coming to Fremantle. Hear Morris Gleitzman talk about his wonderful life from being a writer of feature films and live stage material to being the children’s author we all know and love.

Book Sculpture Exhibition

Together with the Fremantle Arts Centre, we are recreating a reading room of artist books made from discarded library stock. Don’t miss this stunning exhibition!
