Fedele Camarda was elected to the City of Fremantle in 2021 as a Beaconsfield Ward representative. Fedele has represented East Ward since October 2023.
Fedele Camarda believes sustainable models are important to all aspects of life. Fedele is a 4th generation Fisher who lives in Beaconsfield with his family, and has been actively involved in local sport, in various voluntary roles. He has coached at both junior and senior level over many years and is also connected through his wife and children’s participation in local community teams.
Fedele also has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and worked as a Primary School teacher in tandem with his fishing responsibilities.
Fedele is the current Vice Chair of the Western Rock Lobster Council; he also sits on the Fremantle Maritime Advisory Group representing the local Fremantle Professional Fishers Association.
Fedele looks forward to being involved in positive change that starts with strong advocacy from the grass roots up, believing it’s important that our residents can see that council is working for them.
Through his experience as a schoolteacher, representing the Lobster Industry and involvement in community sport, he has seen the many benefits that respectful cooperation, brings to all.
Fedele loves Freo for so many reasons but essentially because of its people and its location. He believes Freo is a great place to call home.
