If your food business has temporarily closed or adapted to takeaway and/or deliveries, please contact the City's Environmental Health team via email firstname.lastname@example.org to advise of changes.
Food premises and product complaints
If you have found a foreign object in a food product, retain the portion and contact our environmental health services team by phoning customer service on 1300 MYFREO (1300 693 736).
Should you find a food business within the City of Fremantle that has unacceptable hygiene or maintenance standards, complete the online customer request form and email email@example.com.
Suspected food poisoning
Food poisoning is caused by eating food or drink that is contaminated with food poisoning organisms including certain types of bacteria, parasites, viruses or toxins.
Symptoms of poisoning may include some or all of the following:
- stomach pains or cramps
- sweating, fever or chills
If you suspect you may have food poisoning you consult your doctor, especially if you have severe symptoms, and request analysis of stool specimens as this may help in investigating the cause of your illness. You should also report your illness to the City of Fremantle in writing, by completing an application for a food complaint investigation and email firstname.lastname@example.org.
