Fremantle Town Hall

Opened in 1887, this Fremantle concert hall venue available for hire holds its original grandeur and will create an inspiring and breathtaking backdrop for your function.

The hall is located in the centre of Fremantle and is able to accommodate a variety of functions ranging from gala dinners, exhibitions, stage performances, corporate functions and many more activities.

This heritage-listed building seats 295 patrons on the ground floor with an additional 130 seats on the upper balcony and has a maximum standing capacity of 400 patrons.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

Bookings are to be made via SpacetoCo. Please read the linked conditions of hire carefully before completing the application form. These conditions of hire shall form part of your approval, shall approval be granted.

Amenities

Town Hall is a dry hire venue. Hirers will need to outsource their own furniture and equipment. The following amenities are available to hirers:

• 295 maroon upholstered chairs
• 8 x VIP silver bollards with red rope
• Baby grand piano at an additional fee of $404.00 per hire
• Toilets with one accessible bathroom
• Supper room for food serving only
• 127 balcony seating plus 3 accessible seats
• Grand piano available (additional fee applies)

Long term bookings

Discounts are available for long term bookings, 7 days or more. Please email bookings@fremantle.wa.gov.au to enquiry.

Security

Security must be present at all events held at Town Hall. Depending on the scale of the event, external security will be requested at an external cost to the hirer.
