The City of Fremantle has awarded the construction contract for the South Beach change facility to ICS Australia.

The City of Fremantle has awarded the construction contract for the South Beach change facility to ICS Australia.

The announcement follows a request for quotation process, in which ICS Australia’s proposal demonstrated the best value-for-money, offering cost savings while maintaining quality design and functionality.

The scope of works has been agreed and the contract award cost will not exceed $2.5million.

ICS Australia, a local construction company, delivered the Fremantle Leisure Centre’s roof replacement project in 2022.

They will gain possession of the site in June 2024 and are expected to finish the build by mid-2025.

Fremantle Council will receive an information report on the successful tender at its next meeting on Wednesday 24 April, along with a request for endorsement of the South Beach landscaping plans before they go out to tender.
