Add to calendar Book now That’s why the City of Fremantle is giving over 55s the opportunity to hear from local experts about how they can make their homes safer, by joining a free session in March, April or May. Participants will receive personalised advice and practical solutions on how to identify and remove potential hazards around the home. They will also learn practical strategies to help them gain confidence and reduce the risk of falls. There will be a self-assessment and time for questions with physiotherapist Rushil Shah and occupational therapist Carleen Ginter from Next Wave Therapy. Each attendee will receive a take-home pack of free resources including a safety checklist audit and items such as non-slip mats, sensor lights, and contrast tape.
