There are still four days left for shoppers to cast a vote for their favourite festive window display as part of the Shine a Light on Fremantle Christmas competition.

More than 40 Fremantle businesses have filled their shopfronts with Christmas cheer for the competition, which is presented by the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Fremantle. 

Public voting is open until the close of business on Thursday 15 December via the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce website.

All voters will go into the draw to win a unique Experience Fremantle weekender, including a night at the National Hotel, $100 Voucher for Old Courthouse Fremantle and a double pass for the Fremantle Tourist Wheel.

The window with the most votes will be announced on Tuesday 20 December, with the winning business receiving a $5000 prize.

Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive Officer Danicia Quinlan said local businesses had gone to extraordinary lengths to shine a light on Fremantle this Christmas.

“This year our shop windows reflected the theme of ‘May All Your Christmas’ Be Bright’ and as such they’ve beautifully lit up our streets and corners across this festive season,” Ms Quinlan said.

“Through our partnership with South Metro TAFE’s Fremantle Fashion Collective, we also had the opportunity to pair three lucky businesses with final year visual merchandising students to add their creative flair to three very special and different windows.

“I really want to thank all of the 47 businesses who put such a great effort into their window displays this year, and I can’t wait to announce the winner of the public vote.”
