South Tce / Market St: Full road closures on 11 and 12 November between 11pm and 5am the following morning. These works are to remove banners, install Christmas lights and shift planter boxes. Detours will be in place and traffic controllers will provide assistance when safe to do so.
Josephson St, between High St and Point St: Northbound road closure on 12 November between 7am and 4pm for Western Power overhead works. Detours and traffic controllers will be in place to ensure local users can access their driveways.
Solomon St, between Knutsford St and Fothergill St: Road closure in both directions on 12 November between 7am to 5pm. There will be traffic controllers onsite to direct and assist users access to their homes.
Knutsford St, between Amherst St and Rochfort Way: Road closure in both directions on 14 November between 7am and 2pm. There will be detours, traffic management and traffic controllers in place.
Keegan St / Roper St, between Yaarick St and Peel Rd: Road closures across multiple shifts between 3 November 2025 and 30 January 2026 for sewer installation works within the industrial area. Closures will occur Monday to Friday between 7am and 5pm only. Where possible, stop/slow traffic control will be in place to minimise disruptions.
McLaren St, between South Tce and Parmelia St: Road closure on 18 November between 11am and 2.30pm for Western Power pole replacement works. Detours will be in place, and local users will still have access to their homes.
The Swan River Crossings Project is one of the most complex and challenging projects undertaken by Main Roads WA, involving road, port, freight, river, walking, cycling, heritage and environmental considerations.
