Freo Cube-Off 2025 Speedcubing Competition

SAT 5 APR | 9am-5pm | Fremantle Town Hall | $15pp

In partnership with Speedcubing Australia and the Town of East Fremantle, Freo Cube-Off returns for a second year. Freo Cube-Off is a full day of competitive and social twisty puzzle solving with 3×3 and 3×3 one-handed competitions.

BMX and Scooter Skatepark Competition

FRI 11 APR | 3-8pm | Esplanade Youth Plaza | FREE

Freestyle Now will be hosting a skatepark competition at the Esplanade Youth Plaza. A skatepark competition is a place for participants to showcase their skills and to demonstrate their growing skills to their friends, family, peers and the wider community. Skatepark competitions activate communities, help engage youth positively and involve community, parents, and beginner to advanced skatepark users. See more information.

Samson Tree and Wildlife Festival

Bring your friends and family to Samson Park to celebrate local trees and learn about the bushland and its inhabitants.

Freedom Centre Wellbeing Workshop

Join us on Mon April 14 and Tues April 15 for two days of arts and crafts, interactive workshops, games AND a group op shop adventure! Bring your mates or come and make new ones, and help us have important discussions about community, belonging, and taking care of our mental health. Workshop sponsored by Freedom Centre, City of Fremantle and headspace Fremantle.

Whereabouts Skateboarding Competition

SAT 26 APR | 3-8pm | Esplanade Youth Plaza | FREE

Register on the day between 3-4pm. Run section from 4-6pm. Best trick / filming from 6-8pm. There will be three run divisions 14Y & under, 15-17Y and 18Y & over. There will be hydration stations, but ensure you bring your own bottle. Parent or legal guardian will be required for any under 18 sign ups. Helmets required.

Tabletop Freo: Roll for it

Give Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering and Warhammer a go! Tabletop gaming has never been as important (or as big) as it is today. And that’s because we, as a society, are realising we can’t just live by the light of our phones. We’ve got to get in front of real people, make real connections, and really, truly laugh.
