Date 03 February 2025 Category City news Topic Business and investment Small businesses and entrepreneurs are being invited to activate Fremantle’s popular coastal locations this winter. An expression of interest process is now open and the City of Fremantle will be awarding six-month winter trading permits for leisure and tourism-focused ventures that are aligned with the seasonal trading guiding principles. The City is seeking new seasonal attractions across locations including South Beach, Bathers Beach, Port and Leighton Beaches and near the WA Shipwrecks Museum. The new ventures must meet certain criteria including being environmentally sustainable, complementing Fremantle’s character, filling a gap in the market and not competing with surrounding established businesses.
