Held during October, Bike Month is Western Australia’s annual celebration of bike riding for transport, fun and a healthier lifestyle. It aims to encourage people of all ages and abilities to ride more often for everyday trips. The City of Fremantle is celebrating Bike Month with a number of free community events for people of all ages and skills. And with safe cycle paths, free bike rental from the Visitor Centre and free community activities for all, getting on the bike in Fremantle has never been easier! As a bike-friendly city, Fremantle has dedicated on-road bike lanes, shared cycle paths, safe intersections for cyclists and bike parking bays throughout the city.
