The City of Fremantle has installed a new electric vehicle charging station at one of its popular car parks.

The 7.4 kilowatt charging point is located in the Parry Street car park, corner of Parry and Holdsworth streets.

Sustainable travel and reducing carbon emissions are both important principles in the City’s One Planet Action Plan.

Two electric vehicle chargers are also available at car park 16 between Fremantle Oval and Old Synagogue.

The electric car chargers and parking bays at Marine Terrace (car park 11) – between the Esplanade Reserve and the Italian Club – are also due to be upgraded, early in the new financial year.
