The Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns this year, from Friday May 1 to Saturday May 30 or until stocks run out.

The Native Plant Subsidy Scheme returns this year, from Friday May 1 to Saturday May 30 or until stocks run out. Residents will be able to purchase subsidised native seedlings grown by local nursery Apace.

This is a fantastic opportunity to choose waterwise native plants that are adapted to thrive in Perth’s environment. Local plant species don’t just look beautiful – they can provide food and shelter for native animals and pollinators and help shade and cool your house and garden.

City of Fremantle residents can purchase up to 20 native plants for $3 each from Apace Nursery, located at 1 Johannah Street, North Fremantle.

Apace is open Wednesday to Saturday from 8.30am to 2pm.

This offer is valid once per household. While stocks last. To redeem this offer at Apace, please take proof of your residential address and photo ID.

Native Plant Subsidy Scheme is proudly funded by the City of Fremantle and forms part of our ambition to be a leading waterwise city.

The City has also developed Verge Garden Guidelines to help residents design and implement their verge gardens, and more information is available on the Verge Garden Scheme page.
