Calling out for artists and curators to submit an expression of interest for 2027 exhibition periods.

Moores Building Art Space (MBAS) are seeking proposals from both emerging and established artists to be a part of the 2027 diverse and innovative exhibition program.

MBAS is a dynamic exhibition venue in the heart of Fremantle’s historic west end and supports contemporary practice across all disciplines including visual arts, installation, performance, expanded media and interdisciplinary projects.

Recent highlights of the MBAS program include an exhibition by Alex Tandy, Annie Irvine, and George Howlett, and also Jane Ryan, alongside special projects such as A Life Remembered: A Tribute to Dawn Meader, which received the FRINGE WORLD Visual Arts Award (2026).

Proposals are welcome from individual artists, artist groups and organisations across all artforms. MBAS strongly encourage artists from First Nations, CALD, LGBTQIA+ and disability communities to apply.
