Construction have begun and is expected to be completed in July 2026.

The City of Fremantle is upgrading the Virginia Ryan Park playground, with renewal works informed by valuable feedback from the local community.

Construction have begun and is expected to be completed in July 2026. The playground upgrade will be delivered alongside winter infill planting throughout the reserve, enhancing both play opportunities and the surrounding landscape.

During the works period, there may be temporary disruptions to access and use of the playground and surrounding areas. Visitors are asked to follow all onsite signage and directions in place to ensure safety while construction is underway.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as these important improvements are delivered to enhance the reserve for current and future users.
