Add to calendar Book now Known by several names throughout its long history, 10 Nights in Port is widely recognised as one of Australia’s oldest recorded festivals, reflecting the evolving story of Fremantle and its people. This year’s theme, Huddle, celebrates the warmth of gathering together through food, fire, music, storytelling and shared experiences. Taking place across Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre, Fremantle Town Hall, Victoria Hall, WA Shipwrecks Museum and other venues, the 2026 program invites audiences to gather together and experience art, performance and conversation throughout the city. A few program highlights: Opening Night A free evening of food, fire and art at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre, with gallery openings, live music, workshops, food trucks and family-friendly activities. Feast & Fire Where Stewart Scambler’s dragon kiln is fired alongside large-scale fire sculptures, live music from Red Earth Sound System, late-night gallery openings and a shared feast inspired by cultures from around the world. Tides An immersive performance at the WA Shipwrecks Museum combining music, moving image and maritime stories. A Magical Guide to Fighting Fascism A new musical following three women across three generations as they uncover family secrets through music, humour and storytelling. The Genesis Project A contemporary performance exploring humanity, creation and our relationship with the natural world. Map of Memories An interactive storytelling experience inviting audiences to reflect on place, belonging and personal histories. Future Treasures A development program and showcase celebrating emerging young musicians from across Western Australia. Plus a diverse program of visual art, live music, theatre, installations, workshops and family experiences, including In the Block Universe, The Raft, Out Loud and On Screen: DADAA AN/OTHER Film Screening and major exhibitions at WFAC.
