The newly adopted plan now incorporates initial estimated financial projections for 2036.

At the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on 26 August 2026, Council adopted the Long Term Financial Plan 2026-36.

The City’s Long Term Financial Plan (the Plan) was adopted in 2025 with the intent that it is updated and re-adopted annually to ensure it adequately reflects economic changes occurring throughout the year. The newly adopted plan now incorporates initial estimated financial projections for 2036.

The Plan provides a financial roadmap for the City over the next 10 years and maps out the key financial strategies and principles the City has adopted in managing its finances over the longer term. The Plan has been developed in line with the City’s financial priorities and the objectives of the City’s Community Strategic Plan 2024-34.

As part of Council decision, it was also noted that the priority and timing of allocations associated with Booyeembara Park projects may be subject to change pending updates to the Booyeembara Park Masterplan.
