Fremantle will come together for a month of music, creativity and community connection as the City of Fremantle celebrates Freo PrideFEST.

Fremantle will come together for a month of music, creativity and community connection as the City of Fremantle celebrates Freo PrideFEST.

The program brings free activities across the City, with opportunities for people of different ages to take part throughout the month.

Freo PrideFEST begins on Sunday 1 November with Sound & Word at Sullivan Hall. The intergenerational gathering invites LGBTQIA+ adults to connect through music, poetry and storytelling.

On Sunday 8 November, Pride Month Sunday Music will bring live music from Queency and guest DJs to Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre. The free event will have a relaxed, family-friendly picnic atmosphere, with food and bar facilities available.

Over the road, the Fremantle Leisure Centre is hosting a SUNGAY, an all-inclusive event with music, face painting, craft and sensory activities.

The celebrations continue at Victoria Hall on Saturday 14 November with Rainbow Rodeo, a free, all-ages afternoon of Pride line dancing, creative activities and community stalls. Registration is required.

Fremantle Library will host two free writing workshops later in the month: a poetry workshop with Madison Godfrey on Saturday 21 November and a creative writing workshop with Fiona Wilkes on Sunday 29 November. Both workshops welcome young people and adults of all writing abilities.

Families can also join PrideFEST at Buster on Fridays throughout November, while young people aged 12–17 can take part in Pride activities at the Library’s Safe Space drop-in. Volunteer Fremantle will share opportunities and resources that support LGBTQIA+ inclusion during the month.

Explore the full program, find event details and register where required.
