Celebrate Children’s Week at the Freo Toy Library. There’s plenty of fun for the whole family!

Children’s Week, 18 to 26 October, is an opportunity for the community to engage in a variety of family-friendly activities that facilitate, support and encourage children and their families to play, learn and grow together.

This year, we’re getting a head start on the celebrations with a free family event on Thursday 16 October at Fremantle PCYC. Hosted By the Freo Toy Library, in collaboration with Meerilinga, join us as we celebrate this year’s theme, ‘Everyone should know about Children’s Rights’ with a range of activities for everyone to enjoy.

Activities include:

  • Face painting and sparkle tattoos with Born to Sparkle
  • Stay and Play
  • Crafting with Emma
  • Zoo2U with their rangers and animals
  • Messy play stations
  • Toys
  • Light refreshments
  • Stall holders and children service providers, including Meerilinga, Fremantle Women’s Health Centre, Aboriginal Health and more
