This dedicated children’s zone offers picture books, board books, easy readers, DVDs and children’s fiction. Families can enjoy the engaging environment that will inspire kids with playful design, bold colours, reading nooks, gaming area and an indoor slide.

LibraryCraft is an award-winning Java Edition Minecraft server running MC 1.21 with multiple worlds and gamemodes, to allow for various styles of gameplay as single or multiplayer.
Players can build homes on the Survival world, create anything in the Creative world, enter one of the monthly competitions, get the high score on the Parkour course, or play some TNT Run, BedWars or KitPVP with a friend.
The site is a “whitelisted server” accessible only to kids aged 7-17 years of age, and the server moderators are there to help players if they get lost or stuck, the offer advice, judge the competitions, and create awesome content for the players. They also ensure player saftey online, making sure the rules are followed for the safety of all involved.

Better Beginnings supports parents in reading to children, helping them to develop necessary literacy skills to become good readers and succeed at school. Join us for Storytime on Thursdays during school term at 9.30am designed for 2–5-year olds to promote and encourage early literacy.
Rhymetime runs on Tuesdays 9.30am during school term, for children up to 2 years of age with their parents.

Buster is a free, multi-sensory, hands-on, active and child-centred program that offers creative and fun opportunities for families to learn and play together, for ages 0-5.

Choose from over 1,900 toys, games, costumes, puzzles and ride ons at Fremantle Toy Library. Membership is open to families, playgroups, parent groups and centres.

We have a section dedicated to Young Adult fiction, alongside graphic novels and manga. Send us your requests for the collection.
Young people who use code to develop apps, games and websites are invited to bring their own inspiration, ideas and knowledge into the Dojo. Develop your skills in Scratch and much more! Mentors are on hand to help learn new skills and solve problems. Bookings are essential – there is currently a waitlist but you can join at any time if there are vacancies.
