You will need a Fremantle specific library card number, if you have a card from another library that is registered in your account with us it will not work, you will need to get a new card from us.
Be Connected is a service in collaboration between the Australian Government and the eSafety commissioner that aims to help older Australians get more confident in using technology and the internet including how to stay safe.
Be Connected aims to empower everyone to use the internet and everyday technology to thrive in our digital world.
Visit the website to have a look at the available resources including the topic library with everything from the very basics to more advanced skills.
You can also create a login to save your progress through the topics. Keep an eye on the library newsletter and the FreOH magazine as we occasionally do short courses that cover some of the topics in person.
GCF Global offers online courses on their website that anyone can access.
You can learn new skills through self-paced study, check out all the topics and choose something to study, from Microsoft Office and email, to reading, math, and more.
There are around 300 topics and over 6000 lessons, including 50 games and interactives.
