We like to encourage everyone to stay safe online, be smart, and responsible in using the internet and technology.

Digital safety tips

  • Do not share your log in details or passwords with anyone.
  • Make sure the passwords you use are strong and you update them regularly.
    • a strong password uses lower and uppercase letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Do not give out personal or financial details.
  • Report online harassment and cyber-bullying.
  • Be aware that posting to social media is public and once something is online it can be difficult to remove it completely.
  • Do not open emails or download attachments from senders that you do not know.
  • Do not download apps from unknown sources.
    • Always check for the company name in the description on the app store.
    • Read reviews/check the rating of an app before downloading and opening it.
  • Supervise children under 12 when they are using online services and digital technology to ensure that they are safe.
